To young for politics?

Last night my hubby and I were watching the debate in South Carolina between the Republican candidates and my husband says to my son

"Blake, are you going to be a Republican or a Democrat?"

My son says

"A democrap"

Now, I don't mean to offend anyone because it would have been just as funny if it had been Republicrap. We just laughed out loud. I'm going to be sad when he starts saying everything right.

hahahahahahahha! I've been getting some good laughs lately with blog reading. I love it! How cute! And yes, it's sad when kids start talking correctly. I don't correct them, because I like to drag it out, and in the case of my niece, I made sure that she can never stop calling me UNCElaine (as in Uncle Elaine) because it is just too cute and endearing. But boy, some heads have turned when they hear her call me that! :)

That is too funny!! My son asked us the other day if we were Republican... he then informed us that he is... at the ripe old age of NINE! :) Don't worry about saying funny things... they may pronounce the words correctly, but they still say things that will make you laugh!

Hey Tonya

Now tell me WHO do you (a) THINK is gonna get in as President

and (b) BACK to get in..?!?

do tell

I think Hillary will win

an American came on British Radio 4 the other day saying Americans don't realize how much they are derided for having voted in Bush a second time (man! I have to say I've eaten HAMBURGERS with more brains than that guy)

and though those aren't my personal feelings (from what I've seen of him I'd probably like George "W" if I met him at a bbq... I just don't see the man as a capable president)

o and can I tell you one other thing as a foreigner

this thing that America thinks it has the right to break other countries' laws and "rendition" anyone they believe to have broken their laws across the world

and all this Guantanamo and water torture etc

seriously you don't realize what a bad taste that leaves in our European mouths!

I'm all for killing criminals don't get me wrong

but Guantanamo Bay?

totally beyond the pail!!

pale

my spelling!!

I think I'm going to call myself a democrap because I'm never fully committed to any party; it pretty much nails the way Im feeling about the state of politics anyway.
Hysterical.
