Going to the market

What a wonderful Saturday we've had so far. Blake was so kind as to sleep in until 730 a.m. which is unusual for him. I actually had over 8 hours of sleep in a row. After breakfast we called grandma and papa and met them at the Farmers Market in Hillsboro. It is a nice little market and we got a beautiful fresh flower bouquet for really cheap (yes, I'm worth it) and we got lots of Bing cherries and raspberries and a loaf of cinnamon chip bread (if you haven't had this and you like cinnamon toast, I highly recommend it). After we left we went and had the car hand washed at my friends dads business. They did a great job outside and in for a good price. We then came home and ate lunch and took a nap and even got some housework done before daddy came home from work. Now that dear hubby is home we are going to go eat and then maybe go see Fantastic 4 the silver surfer. Saturday is indeed a special day and I'm just so thankful for all my blessings. Thank you heavenly father for being so good to me.

TGIF!!

Fridays are great all by themselves but the Friday before vacation is even better. This is my last day of work before I get 9 glorious days off. It's going to be hard for me to pretend to be getting any work done around here. The best part is that I don't have anything that I have to do while I'm off. I'm just going to make it up as I go along. My son's preschool teacher is off for 2 weeks and I am taking the first week and hubby is taking the second week. (thank you for the excuse Ms. Amy) I'm hoping that I'll get a few things done around the house but I'm not going to stress about it. Maybe we'll go to the children's museum or the zoo or Omsi. It's supposed to be really warm next week so maybe we'll spend a day or two at the pool. No pressure, just enjoy the time off with my son. He is so much fun and I spend entirely to much time away from him. Bring on the vacation. T minus 6 1/2 hours and counting.....

Hello cyberworld

Well, this is very exciting. This is my first post on my first blog ever. I have been in blog land for a little while now but only as a lurker to this point so I'm very excited to be entering into a whole new world. I am completely clueless so far but just like everything else, I am going to jump right in and figure it out as I go along. It's have been reading several blogs on a daily basis now and they are all so inspired and so creative. I would not describe myself in either of those ways but I figure there must be room for all of us out here in cyberworld so here I am. I look forward to more posts but for now I will go. I'll be back soon and hopefully I'll get the hang of this before long.
