Still here

Just running from one thing to the next and by the time I get home, I'm too pooped to make in onto the computer. I just checked my bloglines and the number was so big that I just closed the page and I'll try again later. Please know that I'm thinking about you and I'll get caught up soon on my reading and posting.

Sidenote: (I totally stole this idea from Yvonne, hope you don't mind :o) I turned down my very first thing at church. I've always said yes to everything since joining the church 6 years ago but when they called me to teach Relief Society (which is the LDS women's organization) I just couldn't do it. It was only a one time gig and I did ask them to ask me again sometime. She was very nice about it but I can't help but feel guilty. Hopefully the Lord will understand.

Don't ever worry about blog reading. Get to it if you WANT TO! My Google Reader is very full right now too. I'm reading a little here and a little there... but I don't think I'll get to everything. And that's okay... right? :)
And don't feel bad about not teaching!!! I'm sure they understand and the Lord knows your heart! Don't be so hard on yourself! HUGS!!

Things can get so busy some time. Get to blogging when you can.

There's a lovely option called "Mark all Read"...do it! Let the guilt wash away, because there isn't a single person whose blog you read who would want you to feel that way!

Also, let the church based guilt go too! My mum got called as RS President once and turned it down. Told the Bishop all that was going on in her life and asked him if he'd prayed about the calling. He looked uncomfortable...and then apologized for not having a better idea what was going on in her life. Just as leaders are entitled to inspiration to know who to call, we're able to receive confirmation of whether or not a given assignment or calling is what we should be doing at that time in our life. Good for you for putting your sanity first!

NO worries! Hope you are doing okay... hang in there! My blogs private so it wasn't even included in that high number of posts! :) haha

Don't feel guilty at all. And you don't have to explain yourself. The Lord loves you and stand by you.

About two weeks before I gave birth to Lauren, my bishop and his counselor came over to visit with Kris and me, and they called us as stake missionaries. I immediately burst into tears and became rather hysterical. They decided not to call me to that position after all...but I did get that calling several years later!

Sometimes life can be so busy. You read blogs when you have time--don't let that stress you out.

No problem using the "sidenote" thing.
