End of T-Ball

Well, it's been over since mid June but I'm a little late getting this post done. We all really enjoyed ourselves. We had a great team with great parents and good kids. A wonderful first experience into the wide world of sports.

They had a huge end of the year league party but we opted to do our own party with just our team. We had a BBQ and a game where the kids played the moms. The food and company were great and the game was a riot. I haven't ran or hit a ball since I was a kid. Let's just say that running for me is an unnatural thing in nature..lol. Here are some pics from the party and the game. Please stifle the laughter when it comes to me k?

Ready to catch the ball. I told you it was unnatural.
Getting his trophy.

Team photo..aren't they cute.

Showing off his prize.

Looks like such great pictures. You are such a great mom to get out there and bat and run. I bet Blake just loved having you and your hubby play. I'm so glad it was a wonderful experience for him.

I've gotta be honest: I hate tee ball/baseball and pray pray pray my kids don't take a liking to it. Which is exactly why I have been pushing soccer in their direction. :-)

Ambitious for you to take a swing!

Wow , for some reason I thought you son was smaller. Guess it the picture on your front page. Glad you had a party for his team. It was a nice touch.

I love the idea of having a son vs. mom game! I bet the kids LOVED that!! None of my kids have ever done t-ball... just not interested.

You are my hero! Why? Because you got in there and played, YAY! :D

I don't have the slightest bit of athletic ability, and I would only participate in baseball or volleyball games growing up because I was pretty much forced to play. As soon as I was grown, I quit embarrassing myself in sporting events, and moved on to embarrassing myself in a variety of other ways, tee hee! :D

Blake is so cute, and that just looks like the perfect party! :)
