The little girl I always wanted

The Kelley family would like to introduce you to the newest member of our family. She was born June 1st, 2008 and weighs in now at whopping 2 or 3 lbs. Drum roll please.........

Here's Little Ms. Lexie (also known as baby girl by Blake)

Please don't be fooled by her cuteness. She can scream louder than anything I have ever heard in my life when it's nighttime and she wants out of her crate to play. Needless to say we're not getting much sleep around here the last few nights. If it weren't for the fact that my son is already head over heals for her, I just might be looking for the return policy. It is just like having a newborn baby. We weren't supposed to get her until August 1st but Mom could no longer nurse so we decided to take her early. I'm such a sucker.
And no, it's not lost on me that we didn't use any of the names in the poll. A girl can change her mind right? Actually, the lady we got her from was calling her that and Blake has a little friend from preschool that he adores named Lexie and so there you have it.
Pray for me people really. I have read everything I can get my hands on, watched every episode of The Dog Whisperer and I still don't have a clue what I'm doing. It's actually a lot like motherhood for me..LOL

I don't envy you the learning curve, but boy, what a cutie! The name really suits her too!

I love the name Lexie. So cute. I would have a really hard time with a puppy--actually, a lot tougher time than I would have with a newborn ; )

I will pray for you. (I bet Blake is just loving her ; )

Ok... so I feel totally jipped... I totally voted on a name and then you pull one out from no where!!!!

What's up with that?

I'm kidding.

She is cute. Good luck with her... I can't do puppies. :)

She is darling! As for the puppy thing? I'm sure you'll figure it out!! We had a puppy in Oregon that cried and cried... my Husband asked the guy we got her from what we could do to help her at night. The guy told him to take another puppy. AND SO HE DID!! Suddenly, we have TWO puppies... but guess what? It worked like a charm. No more crying! Sorry, I know that's not helpful :)
